When my hubby brought home our very first flat screen television, we couldn't decide what to do with it. We figured that we had 2 choices, buy a flat screen TV armoire to place it on, or suspend it upon the wall. I was nervous about hanging it on the wall. It was huge! What if our wall wasn't strong enough? Suppose we suspended it wrong? I didn't trust it.

My husband, on the other hand, loved the thought of hanging it on the wall and started researching it. We made the decision that as a result of his history of botching every home improvement project he has ever began, we would hire somebody to suspend it. I priced this out but it seemed absolutely outrageous. I decided that I was gonna buy an armoire to put it on and surprise my husband.

I went shopping and discovered these items everywhere! I found the most beautiful armoires I have ever seen. Though they are available in many colors, styles, as well as dimensions, I found one which matched my living room virtually perfectly. It was a dark-cherry wood color. It had fantastic pull out drawers that could easily hold all of our DVD's, Blur-Rays and video games and also their consoles. And they all hid behind closed doors easily! It also had notches cut intended for wires to be fed through.

I brought it home and set the new TV on it and turned it on in time for my husband to come home. He was surprised. We were content about the height of the armoire-it was perfect for just how we like our tvs to be. He also liked that he can continue to play his video games and watch his movies without having to disguise all of that mess each time he had to put it all away.
