The face of gaming changes a lot, not just in the last decade, but even just a year or two. It wasn't so long ago, that we were sitting close to our Television sets, hard wired to our gaming machines via our controllers. We waited many years for manufacturers to release with wireless controllers which weren't a bulky, clunky general rip off, we wanted the real deal.

We ultimately got it, before we knew it, we were being sold controllers that you had to simply move or point at the monitor! The technology seemed to exceed the needs of the user, and now was waiting on consumers to catch up. The PC game controller always seemed to be more enhanced in the mid 90s and early 2000s, but it always had to be pushing itself with titles like flight simulators and the likes.

The USB game controller was always perfect and simple to program to work with any game you desired, but somehow always came across as a job only for nerds. PC gaming controllers required to step back a little bit, and think about home consoles for a little help. It is only when this happened that games started to flourish in general range of gaming. All of a sudden Xbox controllers that could be used with PC's made gaming a lot more appealing and open to the mass gaming community.

All of a sudden everybody is playing FIFA Soccer or NFL Madden on non specific gaming machines around the world.
